Craftsmanship of Dyed Knitted Fabric

The process of making yarn-dyed fabric can be divided into three main parts: dyeing, weaving, and finishing.

Dyeing
After inspecting the greige yarn randomly, the factory proceeds to dye the warp and weft yarns separately.The weft yarn is typically dyed using cone dyeing. The yarn or filament is evenly wound onto a perforated tube and then placed on a machine's spindle before being inserted into a cone dyeing machine. The dye solution circulates between the yarns to achieve the desired color.

Weaving
The dyed yarn can be woven into different textures, such as plain, twill, or satin, using programmed weaving machines. Alternatively, it can be woven into yarn-dyed jacquard fabrics using special jacquard looms, creating more intricate and permanent patterns. Throughout the weaving process, skilled workers conduct inspections and mending to ensure the quality of the fabric.

Finishing
The woven fabric undergoes several finishing processes, including singeing, de-sizing, mercerizing, stentering, peaching/brushing, and pre-shrinking, to ensure the fabrics meet high standards of quality.
